Clasps
DELTA CLASP-Used where an extremely retentive clasp is needed; the molar must be erupted to exposed the buccal undercuts. ADAMS CLASP-Used on molars or bicuspids engaging mesial and distal of undercuts of teeth. C CLASP-Used where another type of clasp creates significant occlusal interference. BALL CLASP-Used as auxiliary retention, this clasp can also be adjusted distally or mesially to engage the undercut. ARROW CLASP-Used where another type of clasp is not retentive enough.
